Associate, Strategic Finance (AI)

Location: New York, NY; on-site

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders on business plans, long-range planning, and strategic alternatives.
• Drive monthly reporting, including actuals close, budget-versus-actual analysis, and rolling reforecasts.
• Connect reported performance to revenue, headcount, and spending drivers.
• Build and maintain financial models, unit economics, and business cases for strategic decisions.
• Prepare board and management presentations and support strategic finance analyses.
• Use AI tools to improve models, dashboards, and reporting architecture while supporting future equity and debt financings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1–2+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, strategic finance, or a high-growth startup operating role.
• Advanced financial modeling and presentation skills, including the ability to build models from a blank sheet.
• Fluency with AI tools and interest in applying them to finance and strategy.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, handle ambiguity, and manage shifting priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, sound judgment, integrity, and collaborative working style.
