Senior Financial Analyst, Strategic Finance

Location: Remote within the United States for residents of CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, ME, MA, MD, NJ, NC, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, or WA; meaningful overlap with Pacific Time is required. Occasional travel for team and company onsites may be expected. hirify.global cannot hire within the city limits of Chicago.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year plus an equity grant for roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, Washington, or New York.

What you will do

• Own the operating and capacity model for an assigned business area, including headcount and spending drivers.
• Manage forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans for supported functions.
• Explain variances and conduct monthly business reviews with functional leaders.
• Review vendors and operating expenses to identify opportunities for leverage.
• Provide decision support through business cases, scenario analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis.

Requirements

• Approximately 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, consulting, banking, or a comparable analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling skills and sound analytical judgment.
• Ability to communicate directly with functional leaders and influence decisions.
• Ability to take ownership of ambiguous work with limited supervision.
• Working style focused on automating repeatable tasks; familiarity with AI tools, BI tools, SQL, or planning systems is beneficial.
• Must reside in an eligible US state and provide meaningful overlap with Pacific Time.
