Senior Financial Analyst, Strategic Finance

Location: Remote within the USA for candidates residing in CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, ME, MA, MD, NJ, NC, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, or WA. Meaningful overlap with Pacific Time is required. Occasional travel for team and company offsites may be required. hirify.global cannot hire within the city limits of Chicago.

Base salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year for roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, Washington, or New York, plus an equity grant.

What you will do

• Own the operating and capacity model for an assigned functional area, including headcount and spending drivers.
• Manage forecasts, budgets, long-range plans, and variance narratives.
• Lead monthly business reviews with functional leaders and explain performance, causes, and implications.
• Review vendors and operating expenses to identify areas of leverage.
• Provide decision support through business cases, scenario analysis, and ad hoc strategic work.

Requirements

• Approximately 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, consulting, banking, or a comparable analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling skills and sound analytical judgment.
• Ability to communicate directly with functional leaders and influence decisions.
• Ability to independently own ambiguous work with limited supervision.
• Ability to automate repeatable work and collaborate with a West Coast-based team during meaningful Pacific Time overlap.
• Must reside in an eligible US state; visa sponsorship is not available.
