Strategic Finance Manger, AI & Forecasting

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States (hybrid)

Salary: $117,000–$158,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential annual performance-based incentive

What you will do

• Redesign topline revenue forecasting using AI- and LLM-based tools instead of manual spreadsheet-driven processes.
• Partner with Finance and Data Science to evaluate and implement AI tools and agentic workflows for forecasting and planning.
• Lead long-range and annual planning while building repeatable AI-assisted modeling and reporting frameworks.
• Apply AI-driven analysis to strategic finance, diligence, scenario modeling, and KPI tracking.
• Prepare Board materials and executive presentations incorporating AI-generated analysis and scenario modeling.
• Champion AI adoption within Finance by documenting playbooks and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a quantitative discipline.
• 4–6 years of finance experience in a fast-paced environment; investment banking, corporate development, or strategic finance experience is relevant.
• Hands-on enthusiasm for AI tools such as LLM-based agents and AI-powered modeling or analysis platforms; experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools in finance or analytics is strongly preferred.
• Ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems and redesign processes using business judgment and data-driven techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, reliability, integrity, communication, and change-management skills.
• Basic technical fluency in SQL, Python, or low-code/AI tooling is useful but not required.
