Registered Nurse CDH ED Full-time Evenings

Location: 25 N. Winfield Rd., Winfield, Illinois, United States; onsite evening shift from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. with every third weekend rotation.

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill patients, identify expected outcomes, and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing interventions and patient progress.
• Direct and delegate care activities to assistants involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Document care plans, communications, patient responses, and outcome-related decisions in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is acceptable with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Employment requires completion of a background check.

Nice to have

• Experience in the relevant clinical area, especially emergency or pediatric emergency care.
• Trauma Nurse Specialist, Emergency Communications Registered Nurse, Certified Pediatric Nurse, or Certified Emergency Nurse credentials.
