Medical Assistant NMG Dermatology Full-time Days (Dermatology)

Location: Mokena, Illinois, United States; onsite day shift

Salary: $19.13–$25.83 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare patients for examinations, obtain vital signs, update medical information, and support efficient clinic flow.
• Assist physicians and other licensed staff with ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations, specimen collection, CLIA-waived testing, and dermatology procedures.
• Prepare, disinfect, sterilize, and restock exam rooms, equipment, instruments, vaccines, medications, and supplies.
• Communicate professionally with patients and the care team in person and by phone while protecting confidentiality.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, participate in safety rounds, and follow clinic opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current certification as a medical assistant, or written proof of eligibility for an approved certification examination.
• Medical assistant certification must be attained within the first six months of employment.
• American Heart Association-accredited Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience and strong computer skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Mokena, Illinois, during the day shift.

Nice to have

• Completion of an accredited medical assistant training program.
• 1–2 years of ambulatory care experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
