Location: Shelbyville, Indiana, United States; onsite role

Pay range: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support a primary care physician and deliver a complete patient experience from check-in through follow-up.
• Room patients, review medical information, collect updated health data, and prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Manage front-desk operations, including scheduling, check-in, check-out, referrals, specialist coordination, and medical record requests.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results according to provider instructions.
• Participate in patient outreach, care-gap follow-up, and maintenance of clinical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration; certification or registration is required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
