TL;DR
E&S Compliance Engineer (EHS/Manufacturing): Managing environmental, health, and safety compliance at an onsite Baguio City manufacturing facility with an accent on regulatory reporting, hazard controls, audits, and emergency preparedness. Focus on leading compliance projects, implementing Lockout/Tagout and industrial ventilation controls, and directing emergency response activities under high-stress conditions.

What you will do
- Maintain regulatory data, inspection evidence, compliance calendars, reports, training records, and closure documentation.
- Support compliance with occupational safety, chemical safety, process safety, construction safety, and emergency response requirements.
- Identify hazards and environmental aspects, assess risks, recommend controls, and verify implementation with process owners.
- Prepare and support DOLE, PEZA, and internal EHS reports within assigned authority and signatory limits.
- Lead 6–8 compliance projects, develop procedures and training materials, and monitor process-owner compliance.
- Participate in audits, agency inspections, incident investigations, corrective actions, and emergency response activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Safety, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in EHS compliance, safety engineering, regulatory reporting, risk assessment, auditing, or management-system implementation.
- Technical expertise in Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout) and Industrial Ventilation or Airborne Exposure Controls in high-risk or manufacturing environments.
- Expert understanding of the Fire Code of the Philippines, National Building Code, NFPA standards, and Philippine OSH Standards.
- Experience drafting and executing Emergency Action Plans, supporting regulatory audits, and preparing compliance assessments, HIRAC/JSA, permit conditions, and audit-closure documentation.
- At least DOLE SO3 certification or training; OSH Practitioner accreditation is preferred but not required.
