Commercial Product Manager (Wholesale Banking)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid way of working with a flexible schedule and short-week options.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of transaction banking products and oversee product strategy, design, commercial execution, lifecycle, performance, and P&L.
• Represent customer needs, research markets and competitors, and identify opportunities to improve product propositions and customer experience.
• Create product roadmaps, business requirements, business cases, marketing materials, and customer satisfaction surveys.
• Coordinate product-related change projects with Sales, Client Services, sector teams, local stakeholders, and the international Product Management Network.
• Support products in payments, cash and liquidity management, digital channels, customer accounts, and account statements.
• Manage non-financial risks, product approvals, risk assessments, audits, controls, regulatory compliance, and product performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Approximately 3–6 years of experience in product, project, or change management, with around 6 years of relevant banking experience.
• Experience working with corporate clients and financial institutions and with products such as payments, customer accounts, account statements, digital channels, or cash pooling.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, time-management, ownership, initiative, flexibility, and adaptability skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Romanian are required.
