Patient Service Representative Oncology Infusion

What you will do

• Coordinate oncology infusion appointments with clinical teams according to treatment plans and clinic availability.
• Work with nurses and physicians to align treatment schedules and follow-up appointments with patient care needs.
• Greet patients and guests, confirm identities, provide visit information, and complete check-in and checkout.
• Update patient demographic and insurance information, complete registration, and obtain consents and authorizations.
• Collect and post co-payments, balances, and point-of-service payments, including end-of-day cash drawer closing.
• Inform patients about delays or appointment changes, maintain the waiting area, and support additional department duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0–2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and manage multiple schedules and priorities.
• Position requires on-site work in Oakbrook, Illinois.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous healthcare experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bilingual communication skills.
