Patient Service Representative (Orthopedics)

Location: 27650 Ferry Rd., Warrenville, Illinois, United States; onsite, part-time day shift, 24 hours per week

Salary: USD 19.02–26.63 per hour

What you will do

• Greet patients and guests, confirm identities, and provide visit-related information.
• Complete patient check-in, check-out, registration, and consent or authorization processes.
• Update demographic and insurance information and collect co-payments, balances, and point-of-service payments.
• Post payments, process billing information, and close the end-of-day cash drawer.
• Schedule appointments, communicate delays or status changes, and maintain a clean, comfortable waiting area.
• Float to other immediate care clinics or departments when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Zero to two years of customer service experience.
• Strong patient and guest communication skills.
• Ability to work an onsite daytime schedule of 24 hours per week in Warrenville, Illinois.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous healthcare experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bilingual communication skills.
