Patient Access Associate Specialist - PRN (Healthcare)

Location: Onsite at Jupiter - Breast Center in Jupiter, FL; applicants must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States. PRN day shift coverage is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Salary: $17.00–$18.15 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Perform patient admission and pre-registration activities, including collecting demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Assign accurate medical record numbers, process physician orders, review eligibility responses, and select insurance plan codes.
• Conduct medical necessity and compliance screening using ABN software and distribute required patient forms and educational materials.
• Explain consent forms, obtain signatures and witness information, and provide clear patient instructions.
• Collect point-of-service payments and past-due balances, explain payment plan options, and support clean claim processes.
• Operate the telephone switchboard, conduct account audits, and provide reporting data to Patient Access leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Inquisitive mindset and openness to innovation, including AI-based process improvement.
• Must be able to work onsite at Jupiter - Breast Center in Jupiter, FL.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire; certification is company-paid.
