Patient Service Representative-Urology Full Time Days

Location: Lake Forest Hospital campus, Lake Forest, Illinois, with possible travel to the Grayslake clinic. Full-time, onsite, Monday through Friday, with shifts from 7:00am–3:30pm or 7:30am–4:00pm.

Salary: $19.02–$26.63 per hour.

What you will do

• Greet patients and guests, confirm identities, and provide information about visits.
• Complete patient check-in, check-out, registration, and consent or authorization processes.
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Collect co-payments, outstanding balances, and point-of-service payments.
• Post payments, process billing information, and close the cash drawer at the end of the day.
• Schedule appointments, communicate delays, and help maintain a clean and comfortable waiting area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0–2 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to work a full-time, 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule onsite.
• Willingness to travel to the Grayslake clinic when required.
• Background check required for new hires and certain internal transfers.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous healthcare experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bilingual communication skills.
