Resource Coordinator Service Environmental Science EVS Discharge Team Supervisor

Location: 251 East Huron Street, Chicago, IL; Feinberg/Galter, FL BS. Full-time evening shift from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Salary: $25.46–$39.30 per hour; non-exempt position eligible for overtime.

What you will do

• Establish Environmental Services standards, procedures, schedules, work areas, and staff assignments.
• Supervise, orient, train, coach, and evaluate EVS employees within the assigned span of control.
• Inspect facility conditions and coordinate the relocation and storage of furnishings, equipment, and spaces to support sanitation and appearance.
• Coordinate major projects, staffing, supplies, daily touch points, and communication with other departments.
• Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory, and keep operating costs within the approved budget.
• Report unsafe conditions, research improvements to EVS technology, and support facility-wide committees and meetings.

Requirements

• Three to five years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience.
• Appropriate clinical or technical competence in the relevant area.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal communication, assertiveness, conflict resolution, organization, and planning skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and completion of Coordinator Orientation Courses.
• Ability to work the evening schedule, rotating weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
