TL;DR

Location: Tampa, Florida territory, including Saint Petersburg, Sarasota, and Naples. Permanent residence in the listed territory is required. The role involves up to 50% on-site time with healthcare providers and up to 75% travel.

What you will do

  • Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submission, coding, payer procedures, and access requirements.
  • Provide field-based support for patient access, fulfillment, reimbursement, and affordability challenges involving pharmacy and medical benefits.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal J&J functions across a matrix organization.
  • Analyze account data and market dynamics to identify access barriers and develop timely solutions.
  • Build customer relationships, manage territory routing and business planning, and maintain expertise in payer coverage and coding requirements.
  • Operate in accordance with applicable ethical, legal, compliance, and FRM engagement standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, or provider-office operations.
  • Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorizations, and appeals.
  • Experience working with patient support HUB services and building relationships with healthcare customers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Valid US driver’s license, compliant driving record, and permanent residence in the listed territory are required.

Nice to have

  • Neuroscience disease-state experience.
  • Advanced business or public health degree, or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and payer reimbursement policies.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Interest in applying emerging technologies such as AI.
