Health Information Management Specialist (Healthcare Revenue Cycle)

Location: Full-time onsite at Tower - St. Christopher's Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; limited to individuals who reside and are authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $18.65–$19.90 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Analyze and reanalyze medical records accurately and complete accounts when missing documentation is received.
• Review electronic medical records and create, assign, and track charting deficiencies for providers.
• Follow up with nursing, ancillary departments, and providers regarding missing documentation and dictation.
• Manage electronic and manual analysis work queues and maintain unbilled account status updates.
• Identify workflow, policy, and system issues and report trends to management for facility resolution.
• Document implemented or enhanced workflows, including process changes and modifications.

Requirements

• Entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission regulations is preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare revenue cycle operations is preferred.
• Acute-care facility health information management experience is preferred.
• Must be inquisitive and open to innovation, including AI-enabled process improvements.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.
