Athletic Trainer - Orthopedics Full-Time Days

Location: 27650 Ferry Rd., Warrenville, Illinois, United States; onsite, full-time day shift

Salary: $26.23–$36.72 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct athletic training and orthopedic patient care under the supervision of the referring physician.
• Perform evaluations, re-evaluations, treatment, and discharge follow-up while adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Document patient responses, assessments, treatment performance, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and contribute to clinical instruction for students, observers, interns, and new hires.
• Participate in committees, process improvement, special projects, and department educational activities.
• Develop physician relations through communication, shadowing, marketing visits, rounds, and surgery observation.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in athletic training for graduates after July 1, 2020; bachelor’s degree accepted for graduates before July 1, 2020.
• Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Illinois.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire, or within 90 days for specified cost centers.
• Ability to provide direct patient care, complete clinical documentation, and follow applicable professional and regulatory standards.
• Ability to flex the schedule for patient care needs and occasional meetings outside normal working hours.
