Certified Athletic Trainer - Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States. Onsite at a client Health Center. Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–midnight. Relocation assistance is available.

What you will do

• Develop and implement early-intervention programs, including comprehensive musculoskeletal examinations, OSHA-compliant first aid, and injury-prevention education.
• Conduct physical-demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead individual and group training in functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention.
• Coordinate care and workplace countermeasures with onsite medical and safety teams.
• Document assessments, recommendations, outcomes, and patient health records accurately and promptly.
• Participate in meetings, task forces, and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program.
• Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer credential.
• Current hands-on Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers through AHA, ARC, or an equivalent provider.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the contract scope of services.
• Experience in occupational health and safety and knowledge of current OSHA regulations are preferred.
• Experience in ergonomics is preferred; an Ergonomic Specialty certification is an advantage.
