Patient Liaison Medical Oncology Full-time

Salary: $20.36–$27.49 per hour

What you will do

• Manage provider, room, equipment, and clinic schedules, including opening and closing clinic templates.
• Coordinate care alternatives when schedules change and register patients or arrange appointments.
• Communicate with patients and clinical staff about treatment-plan compliance, testing, prescriptions, and follow-up care.
• Support data collection and analysis related to physician productivity and resource utilization.
• Help prevent and resolve billing errors and denials, including obtaining pre-certifications and referrals.
• Provide patient education and maintain relationships with patients, providers, staff, hospital departments, physician offices, and vendors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of previous healthcare experience.
• Experience in a customer service role.
• Ability to work the day shift in an onsite healthcare practice.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with an electronic medical record system.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
