Medical Assistant-Pediatrics Full Time Days (Pediatrics)

Location: Glenview clinic, 2701 Patriot Boulevard, Glenview, Illinois, United States. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, day shift.

Salary: USD 19.13–25.83 per hour.

What you will do

• Support physicians, nurses, and licensed medical staff with patient flow and clinic operations.
• Escort and prepare pediatric patients, collect vital signs, update medical information, and document visit details.
• Assist with ECGs, venipuncture, immunizations, procedure trays, specimen collection, and CLIA-waived testing.
• Prepare, disinfect, sterilize, and stock examination rooms, equipment, vaccines, medications, and supplies.
• Communicate professionally with patients and the care team while maintaining confidentiality and patient satisfaction.
• Perform specialty procedures and other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current eligible Medical Assistant certification or documentation of eligibility to sit for an approved certification exam; certification must be completed within six months of employment.
• American Heart Association-accredited Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience.
• Strong computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and care staff.
• Ability to work full-time at the Glenview pediatric clinic on a Monday-through-Saturday day schedule.

Nice to have

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
• One to two years of ambulatory care experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records.
• Pediatrics experience.
