Focus on preparing clinical records, performing screenings and point-of-care tests, managing medication refills and authorizations, and maintaining accurate supplies and documentation.

Location: Bedford, NH, United States. Full-time, onsite schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What you will do

  • Prepare patient charts and ensure diagnostic results, reports, and consultations are available for providers.
  • Room pediatric patients by recording complaints, allergies, vital signs, medications, tobacco history, LMP, and health maintenance information.
  • Perform and document age- and condition-specific measurements, screenings, hearing and vision checks, respiratory testing, ECGs, and point-of-care testing.
  • Collect and process specimens, perform venipuncture as needed, and administer medications and immunizations through appropriate routes.
  • Process prescription refills and prior authorizations for medications and procedures.
  • Maintain clinical supplies and medication sample areas, including storage, labeling, and stock levels.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • For MA I: completion of an accredited medical assistant program, an MA training program with externship, or relevant healthcare experience with formal training.
  • For MA II: at least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Relevant healthcare or ambulatory clinical experience; one to two years of ambulatory care experience is preferred.
  • MA II candidates must hold CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification.
  • BLS authorization is required within 90 days of employment and must be maintained during employment.

Nice to have

  • CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification for MA I candidates.
