Anesthesia Technician (Healthcare)

Location: 300 Randall Rd., Geneva, Illinois, United States; onsite day shift

Salary: $21.53–$31.22 per hour

What you will do

• Manage inventory, order, and stock anesthesia supplies in operating rooms.
• Stock medications in Pyxis machines for pharmacy and prepare operating rooms between cases.
• Report equipment problems, coordinate loaner equipment, and assist with evaluating new supplies and equipment.
• Assist anesthesia staff with procedures such as difficult airway management, arterial lines, and nerve blocks.
• Communicate supply, medication, equipment, back-order, and substitution changes to anesthesia leadership.
• Support housekeeping, infection control, patient transportation, staff orientation, and department safety activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospital-setting experience.
• Knowledge of growth and development relevant to the role.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Successful completion of the required background check.
