Student Imaging Technologist (Radiography)

What you will do

• Perform outpatient radiography procedures according to American Society of Radiologic Technologists practice standards and code of ethics.
• Produce diagnostic images for interpretation by licensed independent practitioners.
• Assist licensed practitioners during interventional procedures.
• Work under the direction of a staff radiologic technologist.
• Complete annual mandatory education on time.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a formal Radiological Technologist training program at an AMA-approved school.
• Obtain a temporary Medical Imaging license after graduation from the formal training program.
• Obtain BLS qualification during the orientation period and maintain it throughout employment.
