Patient Services Rep - Home Care Part-time

Location: 1800 N. Main St., Wheaton, Illinois, United States. Onsite, part-time day shift.

Salary: $19.00–$24.70 per hour.

What you will do

• Greet patients, collect demographic and insurance information, register patients, and collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, coordinate outside testing, and direct and document patient calls.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, the medical practice, company representatives, and potential employees.
• Review Epic charts, verify current consents and insurance cards, prepare charts, and file medical records and test results.
• Complete daily charge reconciliation and respond to medical-record requests from patients, insurers, physician offices, subpoenas, and legal requests.
• Perform all duties in accordance with patient safety, confidentiality, compliance, and accreditation standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Zero to two years of customer service experience.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree and one to three years of physician-office experience.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Must work onsite in Wheaton, Illinois.
• Successful candidates must complete the required background-check authorization and disclosure process.
