Registered Nurse Inpatient-Delnor Neurology Med Surg Unit Part Time Days (Neurology)

Location: 300 Randall Rd., Geneva, Illinois, United States. Onsite part-time role with two 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., every third weekend, and rotating holidays.

Salary: USD 34.50–55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess acutely ill neurology patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Coordinate nursing care and direct the appropriate utilization of assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff to coordinate services and communicate care decisions.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, responses, and updates in the health record.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, unit projects, and evidence-based practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Geneva, Illinois, including rotating weekends and holidays.
