Supply Chain Specialist - Materials Management, Part-time Days (Healthcare)

Location: 10400 Haligus Rd, Huntley, Illinois, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Manage inventory ordering, replenishment, receiving, equipment, linen, and mail activities.
• Order and deliver supplies and linen to user areas according to par levels.
• Audit supplies, linen, and equipment for inventory accuracy, appropriate usage, and compliance.
• Document shortages, expirations, overstock, and discrepancies, then support corrective actions.
• Use WaveMark and PeopleSoft to maintain accurate supply chain data.
• Support hospital staff and internal customers by resolving logistics issues and communicating findings to leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; alternatively, two years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn different software programs.
• Ability to work independently, respond quickly under pressure, organize work, and think critically.
• Ability to follow workplace safety procedures, including proper lifting and pushing/pulling techniques.
• Ability to work the specified onsite schedule: Monday 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Friday 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m., and Saturday 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Nice to have

• Two years of experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Associate degree in a related field.
