Master Scheduler/Planner II (Manufacturing)

Location: Waltham, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid and flexible work arrangements are available.

Salary: $86,000–$88,000 per year base salary.

What you will do

• Develop, manage, and maintain production schedules and inventory levels for finished goods and sub-assemblies.
• Analyze forecasts and demand history to determine production requirements, capacity, and manufacturing bottlenecks.
• Plan, schedule, and release weekly workloads according to manufacturing routings and lead times.
• Lead weekly production scheduling meetings and communicate requirements across Operations, Order Service, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Technical Service.
• Revise schedules to address sales order changes, material shortages, and capacity constraints.
• Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives, including supply chain activities for new product development.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of master scheduling or production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience coordinating production requirements across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to resolve product and component constraints, delays, material shortages, and capacity limitations.
• Ability to alternate between standing and sitting during work.
