Material Coordinator (Supply Chain)

Location: Onsite in Heath, Ohio, United States. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; availability for emergency material requirements 24/7 and travel when necessary.

Salary: $20–22 per hour. Contract duration: 12 months. Role type: W2 contract.

What you will do

• Review material requests and determine cost-effective fulfillment from suppliers or company inventory.
• Monitor open material requests, purchase orders, inventory reports, and material exceptions.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Operations, Expediting, Procurement, and assigned business units to ensure material availability.
• Train facilities on the Materials Management system and provide feedback on inventory management strategies.
• Recommend process improvements, monitor performance metrics, and take corrective action to support supply chain and business unit goals.
• Purchase emergent material and prepare procurement engineering, receipt inspection, and material-hold reports for Cook Nuclear Plant activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field; alternatively, an associate degree with two years of applicable experience, or a high school diploma/GED with four years of applicable experience.
• At least two years of experience in supply chain or applicable business operations, including relevant Materials Coordinator Associate or similar experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Heath, Ohio.
• Availability 24/7 for emergency material requirements related to service restoration or planned and unplanned outages.
• Ability to travel when necessary; sedentary physical demand level.
