TL;DR
Project Manager I (Enterprise Logistics and Technology): Leading cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation across FedEx operational and technology initiatives with an accent on legacy system modernization, international deployments, and organizational change management. Focus on coordinating distributed stakeholders, managing schedules, budgets, risks, vendors, and executive governance across complex enterprise deliveries.
Location: Hybrid position in Memphis, TN; Plano, TX; or Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location and work onsite several times per week.
Salary: $6,168.90–$13,571.58 per month in the US, with state-specific ranges.

What you will do
- Lead multiple cross-functional and cross-operating-company projects through initiation, planning, execution, implementation, and closeout.
- Manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources, deliverables, financials, procurement, and vendor engagements.
- Coordinate business, technical, and operational teams supporting legacy Express platforms, dispatch operations, field operations, and international implementations.
- Gather requirements and develop Business Requirements Specifications and Work Requests for operational and technology initiatives.
- Lead governance, executive reporting, risk mitigation, issue resolution, scope control, change management, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate organizational change management, including communication planning, stakeholder readiness, user training, and implementation support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or a high school diploma/GED with four years of technical or professional experience.
- At least five years of experience in a technical or professional environment, including two years leading cross-functional projects.
- Knowledge of Legacy Express systems, DSM platforms, and the Global Pickup & Delivery Ecosystem (GPDE).
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery; Everest processes; OCM; BRS; and FWRs.
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, issues, resources, vendors, and geographically distributed teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Visio, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and related project management tools.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
