Manager Software Engineering (Hospitality)

Location: Hybrid role based near one of hirify.global's corporate offices in Memphis, Tennessee; McLean, Virginia; or Dallas, Texas, United States. Travel up to 5%.

Salary: $100,000–$145,000 per year, plus eligibility for the hirify.global Annual Incentive Bonus Plan.

hirify.global is a global hospitality company with an in-house Technology organization developing consumer-facing and financial solutions for its hotel and corporate operations.

What you will do

• Support hirify.global's custom-built financial application and align enhancements with business priorities and acceptance criteria.
• Design and deliver technical solutions using established software engineering methodologies.
• Define requirements, use cases, and user stories while supporting Agile delivery through Jira and Confluence.
• Act as an escalation point for critical priorities, coordinating issue resolution across engineering teams and external partners.
• Partner with finance stakeholders, hotel teams, product, architecture, security, infrastructure, and vendors to deliver technology solutions.
• Track risks and progress, guide technical decisions, remove delivery blockers, and validate junior developer code against requirements.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional experience in Technology or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in software or platform design, implementation, and IT project management.
• At least two years of experience with ASP/.NET, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Python, PowerShell, and SSRS, including complex SQL functions, stored procedures, and views.
• Hands-on knowledge of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, cloud architecture, and APIs, with the ability to review designs and guide technical decisions.
• Experience translating priorities into engineering roadmaps in collaboration with Product, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and external partners.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid arrangement near the Memphis, McLean, or Dallas office locations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience through an associate degree or high school diploma/GED.
• Seven or more years of professional Technology experience.
• Experience with Kafka, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, SharePoint, Teams, Jira, and Confluence.
