What you will do

• Lead and nurture a high-performing software engineering team, providing guidance through technical ambiguity.
• Define the team's scope and hire balanced engineering talent to excel as a unit.
• Drive the career development of direct reports through regular 1:1s and actionable feedback.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to champion and execute an optimal technical roadmap.
• Evolve a deep understanding of local systems to make informed architectural decisions.
• Partner across Engineering, Product, Marketing, Data Science, and Business Operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of recent experience managing a Product Engineering team of four or more engineers.
• 7+ years of industry experience deploying apps across large codebases with many contributors.
• Ability to fluently translate and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong technical foundations to navigate tradeoffs in product engineering decisions.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive culture of psychological safety and technical rigor.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Dublin office 3 days per week.
