Salary: $140,500–$236,826 USD base salary for US-based employees; compensation varies by employment location and role.

What you will do

• Lead a high-performing software engineering team responsible for core hirify.global products.
• Own software design, code quality, delivery, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Translate product vision into engineering roadmaps with Product Management and architecture leads.
• Manage resource allocation, sprint planning, delivery metrics, and risk mitigation.
• Drive architectural reviews, process optimization, and engineering initiatives across the organization.
• Coach engineers, establish career development frameworks, and support promotion readiness and retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including cloud-scale systems.
• 3+ years of experience building, leading, and managing software engineering teams.
• Technical background in Java, distributed systems, event-driven microservices architecture, and AWS.
• Experience delivering software in an Agile/Scrum environment and developing technical talent.
• US-based availability and participation in an in-person interview are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted engineering, prompting, agentic workflows, and human-in-the-loop review.
• Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, PyTorch, LLMs, foundation models, Bedrock, or Vertex AI.
