Field Service Technician I (Oilfield Equipment)

Location: Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, United States. Onsite field and shop work at customer locations and the SPM Service Center. Relocation is not offered. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Salary: $21.90–$29.30 per hour; starting pay is $21.90 and may be adjusted based on experience.

What you will do

• Install, remove, maintain, test, repair, rebuild, and troubleshoot frac, drilling, and pressure control equipment.
• Deliver and install equipment at customer locations and perform pre-checks to confirm equipment and processes are operable.
• Follow safety policies, location-specific protocols, standard operating procedures, and Stop Work Authority requirements.
• Prepare job safety analyses and accurate field service documentation.
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, and team members while providing professional field service support.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, trucks, trailers, and site-specific equipment; work in the shop when no field assignment is available.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and apply technical equipment operation and maintenance.
• One to two years of experience and/or training; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to operate a company vehicle.
• Must have a clean driving record, generally no more than two moving violations in the past 12 months or three in the past three years.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand frequently, and work around moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather, and high noise levels.
• Must wear required PPE, including steel-toed safety shoes, safety glasses, and fire-resistant clothing.
