Registered Nurse-Tele Med Surg Full Time Nights (Med-Surg)

Location: Palos Heights, Illinois, United States; onsite night shift

Salary: $34.50–$55.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assess, document, and organize patient health data from admission through discharge.
• Identify nursing diagnoses, urgent care needs, and patient education requirements.
• Develop, implement, and continuously update individualized plans of care.
• Provide evidence-based nursing interventions, education, and direct patient care.
• Evaluate patient progress and outcomes, documenting responses and unmet needs.
• Coordinate care with patients, families, nurses, providers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; an ADN is accepted with a commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of starting the clinical nurse role.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience in the relevant clinical area is preferred.
• External ADN candidates are not currently being considered for RN openings at Palos Hospital; internal ADN candidates may apply.
