Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Internship (June - August 2027)

Location: Anoka, MN or Blaine, MN, US; onsite for a 12-week full-time summer internship from June to August 2027.

Salary: $22 per hour for time worked.

What you will do

• Support workplace safety inspections, audits, hazard identification, risk assessments, ergonomic assessments, and incident investigations.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, metrics, corrective action tracking, and safety communications.
• Support waste management, recycling, sustainability, environmental inspections, permits, reports, and compliance activities.
• Assist with onboarding, safety orientations, employee training coordination, safety committee meetings, and engagement activities.
• Compile and analyze safety and environmental data, creating dashboards, reports, and presentations for management.
• Contribute to pollution prevention, resource conservation, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Public Health, or a related field.
• Must be available for a 12-week full-time internship in Anoka or Blaine, Minnesota, from June through August 2027.
• Must graduate with an undergraduate degree between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Must have current US work authorization; hirify.global does not provide work authorization sponsorship.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, organization, collaboration, adaptability, and personal responsibility.
• Willingness to learn and work with people at all organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Leadership experience and familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety principles.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance requirements, data analysis, and reporting.
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial experience.
