What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and electronic equipment throughout a petrochemical manufacturing facility.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, controls, lighting, switchgear, transformers, buses, breakers, relays, and electrical distribution systems.
• Install, splice, terminate, test, and repair low- and medium-voltage systems, feeders, conduit, wiring, and cable tray infrastructure.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, loop sheets, isometric drawings, and technical manuals.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency meters, and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot controls, motors, and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and craft personnel, support hazardous waste procedures, operate mobile equipment when required, and provide overtime, call-out, or shift coverage to maintain plant uptime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Electrical state license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience in petrochemical, chemical, refining, manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment.
• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial electrical systems, including low- and medium-voltage equipment, switchgear, transformers, breakers, relays, and splicing.
• Ability to troubleshoot AC and DC systems, electrical controls, motors, and distribution systems and interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to work onsite in Pasadena, Texas, around hazardous chemical manufacturing processes, elevated heights, moving equipment, and varying indoor and outdoor conditions.

Nice to have

• Associate of Science degree in Electrical Technology or a related field.
• Experience in petrochemical or chemical processing facilities and 24/7 manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of flare ignition systems, BMS systems, and advanced industrial control systems.
• Instrumentation experience or willingness to cross-train as an Instrument Technician.
• Experience maintaining mobile equipment electrical systems and strong diagnostic skills.
