OPX Facilitator (Training Programme)

Location: Mallow, County Cork, Ireland; some travel within the EU is required.

What you will do

• Identify and realize optimization opportunities across operations and administration.
• Coordinate and support maturity and performance improvement projects.
• Monitor project progress, escalate issues when required, and summarize results using data and KPIs.
• Facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and standardize operating procedures, best practices, and improvement road maps.
• Mentor teams and support cross-functional collaboration throughout improvement projects.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing environment and practical experience applying Lean tools, concepts, and methods.
• Degree in Engineering or a relevant NFQ Level 6, 7, or 8 qualification, or relevant internal manufacturing experience.
• Strong problem-solving, facilitation, communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with process mapping, continuous improvement tools, KPIs, workflows, PowerPoint, Excel, and project management practices.
• Strong written and spoken English is essential for working with an international audience.
• Passport required for some global EU travel.

Nice to have

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Project management experience.
• German or other additional language skills.
• Experience mentoring or coaching team members, leading initiatives, or overseeing transformation projects.
