Team Leader Moulding Engineer (Injection Moulding)

Location: Limerick, Ireland; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: €63,300–€101,315 base pay per year, plus annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for injection moulding operations within a production value stream.
• Support new product introduction through process characterisation, challenge testing, capability studies, stability runs, and process qualification.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
• Resolve complex moulding equipment, systems, and process issues using statistical analysis and structured problem-solving.
• Manage engineering projects and support the design, installation, validation, and improvement of moulding equipment and processes.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams while maintaining quality-system documentation and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biological Science, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar technical environment.
• Proven results in a technical or engineering role.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making, structured problem-solving, or advanced statistical methods.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and communicate technical findings clearly.
• Ability to work onsite in Limerick, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Design of Experiments, process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, Six Sigma, or Black Belt methodologies.
• Familiarity with equipment validation in a regulated FDA environment.
• Project management experience using FPx or equivalent methodologies.
