Senior Sourcing Lead - Global Storage & SaaS

Base salary: $140,000–$180,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own global sourcing strategies for software-defined storage platforms, storage support and services, and the full storage infrastructure category.
• Manage the global SaaS portfolio, including renewals, license and seat optimization, vendor consolidation, and commercial governance.
• Lead negotiations for storage software rate cards, multi-year licenses, media and OEM agreements, and enterprise SaaS contracts.
• Drive FinOps-style governance for consumption- and usage-based software spending, aligning commitments, discounts, usage, and renewals.
• Build strategic vendor relationships and partner with storage engineering, infrastructure, information security, and finance teams.
• Coach sourcing managers and buyers while advising engineering and business leadership on storage and software investments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of strategic sourcing or vendor management experience across infrastructure and enterprise software categories.
• Direct experience procuring storage at scale, including software-defined storage platforms and enterprise or hyperscale storage hardware.
• Experience managing a large SaaS portfolio, complex renewals, multi-year enterprise agreements, license optimization, and vendor consolidation.
• Experience running or commercially leading technical proofs of concept and structured vendor evaluations with engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including normalized cost frameworks and communication with engineering and finance leadership.
