Senior Director, Operational Procurement (Data Center)

Salary: $300,000–$380,000 USD base salary per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and/or commission.

What you will do

• Embed operability, serviceability, and total cost of ownership into early-stage sourcing and technical specifications.
• Standardize the Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed (OFCI) operating model and clarify handoffs between Construction and Operations.
• Ensure asset-data continuity, warranty protection, and spare-parts availability during facility turnover to steady-state operations.
• Lead global category strategies for OFCI equipment, long-lead plant, and critical operating services.
• Structure and negotiate capital, construction, and facilities-services agreements, including SLAs and performance regimes.
• Build supplier-performance frameworks, mitigate supply-chain risks, and develop a high-performing procurement team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain.
• Significant experience in data centers, mission-critical environments, construction, or infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ownership of OFCI or MEP equipment procurement.
• Experience negotiating and administering capital, construction, operating, and facilities-services contracts.
• Proven ability to build teams, processes, playbooks, governance, and approval workflows in hyper-growth environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.

Nice to have

• MBA or related master's degree; CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with hyperscale, colocation, infrastructure, or high-growth startup environments.
• Experience managing long-lead electrical and mechanical plant in capacity-constrained markets.
• Familiarity with global sourcing and multi-region contract structures executed regionally in North America.
