Procurement Manager

Location: On-site in Redwood City, California, United States; relocation support provided

Salary: $165,000–$205,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own company-wide procurement from sourcing and vendor selection through contracting, renewals, and ongoing vendor management.
• Lead vendor evaluation and negotiate favorable commercial and contract terms.
• Manage strategic software, infrastructure, and other company spend.
• Identify cost-saving and vendor-consolidation opportunities while improving spend visibility.
• Build procurement policies, processes, approval workflows, and the procurement function from scratch.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Engineering, IT, HR, and leadership on budgets, contracts, vendor risk, and automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or purchasing.
• Strong vendor and contract negotiation experience, including ownership of meaningful company spend.
• Experience with SaaS, software, or technical procurement.
• Experience at a fast-growing technology company or startup.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with spend data.
• Ability to work independently, build procurement processes from scratch, move quickly, and collaborate cross-functionally.
