Forward Deployed Engineer II (AI & Autonomy)

Location: London, hybrid; requires travel to customer sites up to 30% of the time.

What you will do

• Become an expert user of the Hivemind Enterprise Autonomy Software Development Kit.
• Develop AI and autonomy applications for unmanned air, sea, land, and space platforms.
• Deploy Hivemind AI infrastructure at customer sites and support product integration with vehicles and platforms.
• Provide technical training and help customers debug software and API integration issues.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to address customer feedback and improve products.
• Create technical documentation and training materials, and support the sales team with complex technical queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of industry experience; less experience may be considered with a master’s degree or PhD.
• Technical background in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ and intermediate proficiency in Python.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the defense, aviation, or robotics industry.
