What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy autonomous robotic systems for real-world applications.
• Develop and implement planning, perception, and control systems using modern robotics techniques.
• Research and apply state-of-the-art approaches in embodied AI, transformer architectures, and reinforcement learning.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and control frameworks into robust production systems.
• Define the long-term technical direction for the robotics program.

Requirements

• Must be based in London, UK for this on-site role.
• Strong experience building and deploying robotic systems in real-world environments.
• Expertise in Python and at least one systems programming language such as C++.
• Proficiency with robotics frameworks such as ROS2.
• Solid understanding of motion planning, robot control, and computer vision.
• Experience training and deploying machine learning models.

Nice to have

• Experience with embodied AI or robotic foundation models.
• Publications or significant contributions in robotics or machine learning.
• Experience with manipulation, mobile robotics, or industrial robotics.
• Background in taking robotics products from prototype to deployment.
• Interest in energy and industrial automation.
