Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Engineer full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications on the C3 AI Platform.
• Design, develop, deploy, test, and improve production applications, demonstrations, and proofs-of-technology for customers.
• Conduct code and design reviews and mentor junior engineers on coding standards and design techniques.
• Lead technical deep-dives, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions.
• Write application specifications and technical documentation while identifying and mitigating technical risks.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to improve C3 AI software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a comparable field.
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience with object-oriented programming languages.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in STEM or a comparable field.
• Experience deploying enterprise-scale applications or working in customer-facing roles.
• Experience with JavaScript, Python, Git, or other version control software.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular.
