Forward Deployed Engineer (AI) (C3 AI Platform): Engineering and deploying full-stack AI-driven enterprise web applications, demos, and proofs-of-technology directly with customers with an accent on application architecture, production deployment, and customer enablement. Focus on designing and reviewing customer applications, troubleshooting and improving deployed software, mentoring engineers, and identifying technical risks.

What you will do
- Engineer and deploy full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications on the C3 AI Platform.
- Work directly with customers to design and deliver production applications, demonstrations, and proofs-of-technology.
- Conduct design and code reviews, troubleshoot applications, and improve quality, architecture, and engineering practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and share coding standards and design techniques.
- Lead technical deep-dives, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions.
- Document application specifications, identify technical risks, and collaborate with product management and engineering on product improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a comparable field.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience with object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively on a cross-functional team.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Nice to have
- Graduate degree in STEM or a comparable field.
- Experience deploying enterprise-scale applications and working in customer-facing roles.
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, Git, or other version control software.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular.
