Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL, United States; primarily weekend support in a casual rotating schedule.
Salary: USD 58.00–84.10 per hour.

What you will do
- Review medication orders for safety, appropriateness, allergies, interactions, duplications, compatibility, and administration risks.
- Monitor pharmacokinetic therapy, laboratory results, adverse reactions, therapeutic drug monitoring, and medication-related interventions.
- Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including sterile products, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records, patient profiles, medication documentation, controlled inventories, and automated dispensing cabinets.
- Provide medication information and education to patients, families, physicians, nurses, students, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in emergency response, formulary management, quality improvement, medication-use reviews, and pharmacy staff training.
Requirements
- Active Clinical Pharmacist license in Illinois through IDFPR.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- Ability to work an irregular, rotating schedule with primarily weekend support after training and orientation.
- Ability to communicate clinical knowledge effectively in oral and written forms.
- Ability to coordinate medication-related decisions with pharmacy, nursing, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
Nice to have
- Training or knowledge in oncology, critical care, neonatology, or another specialty area.
- Completion of a pharmacy residency program or equivalent hospital pharmacy experience.
