Location: Clinical Center; Tennessee pharmacist licensure required

Salary: $50.00–$89.50 per hour

What you will do

• Independently manage drug distribution and medication control activities.
• Verify medication orders, perform dose checks, review medication profiles, and interpret drug therapy protocols.
• Maintain accurate records for medication profiles, investigational drugs, controlled substances, interventions, and protocol deviations.
• Provide drug information, patient education, and medication counseling.
• Support research, quality improvement, technology and medication utilization initiatives.
• Guide pharmacy technicians and collaborate with patients and healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Tennessee pharmacist license or license in process.
• At least two years of relevant pharmacy experience.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, pharmacy documentation systems, databases, and process improvement.
• Experience guiding pharmacy staff and delivering consistent performance in a comparable role.

Nice to have

• Hospital pharmacy practice experience.
• Experience in a health system outpatient pharmacy and with transitions of care for outpatient or retail medications.
