Journey-Level Pipefitter (Manufacturing)

Location: Rochester, New York, with travel to local customer sites and occasional travel outside the region

Salary: $30–$45 per hour, plus potential incentive compensation and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Cut, fit, and install pipe systems for custom industrial machines and process skids.
• Join pipes using threading, soldering, brazing, MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding techniques.
• Read engineer-issued blueprints and fabrication drawings and apply trade mathematics.
• Operate material movement equipment to lift and position pipes, supports, and heavy machinery.
• Inspect pipe systems, identify issues early, and maintain required quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, programmers, planners, project managers, and customers.

Requirements

• Journey-level pipefitting experience with a completed apprenticeship or 10–15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with threading, soldering, brazing, and MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding; 6G pipe welder certification is advantageous.
• Strong blueprint reading and trade mathematics skills.
• Physical ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Full-time availability Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with flexibility for overtime and travel.

Nice to have

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• CDL Class A license.
• 6G pipe welder certification.
