Pipefitter - 2nd Shift (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Parsons, Kansas, United States; onsite at the company office or worksite. Weekend or 2nd shift schedule. The position is contingent on a contract award.

Salary: $30.32 per hour. A wage range of $53,393 is also stated, with the final offer varying based on experience and geographic location.

What you will do

• Install, bend, cut, groove, thread, and maintain welded pipe.
• Install and maintain water lines, nitrogen lines, air filters, regulators, cylinders, and oilers.
• Assemble, install, and test air logic controls using engineering drawings and special instructions.
• Read mechanical drawings and air logic schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair air control systems, including replacing mechanical components and making equipment adjustments.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, assembly, and workbench repairs while completing required documentation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting over 15 pounds, climbing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include extreme temperatures, fumes, gases, odors, and high noise.
• Ability to reason, concentrate, communicate orally, and make sound decisions for extended periods.
• Successful completion of the background screening process.
