Manager, Engineering Lab Systems & Facilities

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; on-site five days per week

Annual base salary: $119,800–$170,135

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional team supporting facility operations, calibration, test systems, and lab IT.
• Set priorities, clarify ownership, and ensure operational and project commitments are delivered.
• Maintain the readiness and reliable operation of lab infrastructure, test equipment, data acquisition, software tools, and supporting systems.
• Coordinate facility maintenance, calibration execution, test system support, and lab IT performance.
• Partner with engineering, lab leadership, and internal customers to align support and investment priorities with business needs.
• Lead lab capital planning and execution, including equipment upgrades, infrastructure improvements, new installations, budgets, schedules, resources, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical or cross-functional teams.
• Significant experience in engineering, lab operations, facilities, technical systems, or related environments.
• Experience leading projects, budgets, operational priorities, and capital planning or execution.
• Strong technical, operational, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced education in engineering, business, project management, or a related field.
• Experience in laboratory, product development, test, or facility improvement environments.
• Familiarity with HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical and electrical systems, calibration practices, lab software, or technical support functions.
• Strength in operational discipline and continuous improvement.
