Calibration Technician (HVACR)

Location: Fully onsite in Sidney, Ohio, USA; first shift, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Approximately 15% domestic and international travel is required.

What you will do

• Calibrate, install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade laboratory test stands.
• Create and update team procedures.
• Provide technical support for test equipment, PLC-based systems, methods, and custom applications.
• Perform annual calibration, audits, repairs, modifications, and maintenance at manufacturing plants in the United States and Mexico.
• Support maintenance requests, shipping activities, and parts delivery to internal and external quality laboratories.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Systems Integration, Controls, or a related field, plus five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of instrument and system integration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with PLC programming languages or systems such as Yokogawa, Redlion, and Mitsubishi.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a related field plus ten years of relevant experience.
• ETMS training.
• Experience with AC power management and additional PLC or programming technologies.
