Refrigerants Trainer (Refrigeration)

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States; based at the hirify.global Discovery Hub. Regular travel of up to 50% is required.

Salary: $97,843–$152,880 annual base pay, plus an 8% annual bonus target.

What you will do

• Create and deliver refrigerant training in person and virtually at customer sites, conferences, and tradeshows.
• Provide technical support to OEM and aftermarket customers across refrigeration system architectures and refrigerant types.
• Test equipment to evaluate refrigerant performance in new and retrofit applications.
• Support quality investigations through laboratory analysis and troubleshooting.
• Use industry and internal refrigerant software to support customer requests and training.
• Participate in Codes & Standards activities and develop technical literature for industry education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least five years of experience in the ACR industry.
• Experience designing, installing, servicing, and/or troubleshooting ACR equipment.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel regularly, up to 50%.
• Immigration sponsorship, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, TN, or other non-immigrant status sponsorship, is not available.

Nice to have

• Refrigerant-related experience.
• EPA 608 certification.
• Experience participating in Codes & Standards activities.
